Ramon Guiteras Lecture

Prof. Montorsi (IT) is honoured to take the stage at the AUA2022 Ramon Guiteras Lecture, which is the most prestigious and principal address given at the AUA meeting each year. His 25-minute presentation, "How to reach excellence in urology: Challenges and opportunities," will take place on Saturday, 14th May at 9:30am (UTC-5), during the plenary programme.

The Ramon Guiteras Lecture was created to honour and recognise its founder, Dr. Ramon Guiteras for his service as the first President of the American Urological Association. This annual lecture provides the catalyst to bring an outstanding lecturer of distinction to contribute to the scientific portion of the meeting.

Prof. Montorsi will also be participating in other lectures and forums during AUA2022:

  • Robotics Theatre: Multiport robotics procedures - Prostate and kidney cancers (13 May, 13:00-15:00)
  • VO7: Prostate, penile, testis and misc. oncology (15 May, 7:00-9:00)
  • Robotic radical prostatectomy in high grade high risk prostate cancer (15 May, 15:20-15:30)

EAU Lecture: Is endocrine treatment for undescended testis of any benefit at all?

Each year the AUA Annual Meeting features a lecture organised by the EAU. This year Prof. Christian Radmayr (AT) will present a thought-provoking talk entitled, "Is endocrine treatment for undescended testis of any benefit at all?"

This presentation is part of the Plenary Panel Discussion: Regenerative Medicine in Paediatrics, and will be held on 15 May, from 7:30-7:50 (UTC-5).

If you are attending AUA2022, we also warmly welcome you to visit the EAU booth (#1908), where we can answer any questions you have regarding EAU membership, publications and future educational activities. You can find more information on the programme here.
