Mission

ESUT was founded in 1999 as one of the first full members of the Section Offices of EAU to be a platform for all European Endourologists as a counterpart to the Endourology Society. ESUT provides a wide spectrum of scientific and educational activities to update interested Urologists inside EAU with recent technological developments and to teach them with standardized techniques based on the expertise of the ESUT-faculty.



Activities
  • Live-surgery at the annual EAU-congress
  • Hands-on training of laparoscopy and ureteroscopy on validated training models (in cooperation with the European School of Urology)
  • ESUT-CDs and DVDs demonstrating basic and advanced endourologic and laparoscopic techniques.
  • ESUT-affiliation of selected Meetings of National Endourological Societies
  • ESUT-masterclasses to update the partcipants with recent techiques in Laparoscopy, Endourology, and Robotics (in cooperation with European School of Urology)
  • ESUT-sessions and lectures at important endourologic Meetings (ie. World Congress of Endourology, Engineering Urologic Society, Challenges in Laparoscopy, European Robotic Urologic Society, Focal Therapy Meeting)
  • ESUT-fellowship programme (in cooporation with European Urologic Scholarship Programme).
  • ESUT articles in European Urology and European Urology Today
