Basic Research Committee

Composed of researchers with an established track record and with members already involved in European research networks, the Basic Research Committee aims to strengthen the basis for new collaborative programmes. Besides promoting the exchange of expertise, protocols, bio-repositories and the mobility of (clinical) scientists, this committee is tasked to promote the translation of research findings into clinical practise by facilitating translational research protocols.

With support from the EAU-Central Research Office (EAU-CRO), the Basic Research Committee can initiate truly innovative research projects and has the capacity to support the establishment of, or strengthen, new urological research laboratories.
