
Pre-alert : 1st European Multidisciplinary Meeting on Urological Cancers: an update
Arnhem, October 2007 - The 1st European Multidisciplinary Meeting on Urological Cancers (EMUC) 'Embracing Excellence in Prostate and Kidney Cancer' is scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain, coming November 2 to 4.
This is the first time that major European organisations involved in the management of urological malignant disorders have joined forces and set up a meeting to present and discuss the latest updates and innovations in this rapidly evolving field.
This collaboration, involving the European Association of Urology (EAU), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) should prove to be a landmark achievement for the European medical community. A combined EAU/ESMO/ESTRO/EORTC press conference will be held on Friday 2 November. The programme starts at 12.00 hrs and will be followed by a luncheon (until 13.30 hours):
