Nurses
The EAUN represents approx. 2,500 nurses, all working in urological care. It is a lively, dynamic organisation with a focus on the importance of excellent urological nursing, especially for the patient. The latest developments in the nurses’ fields of interest are discussed at the International EAUN Meeting, which coincides with the Annual EAU Congress.

I had my vacation early this year and came back to work in New Zealand late April, feeling revitalised after a five-week holiday in Spain and England.

| Update on EONS Prostate Cancer Education Project |
 | In a European context there is currently a lack of evidence on what type of education is needed for nurses and doctors in relation to prostate cancer. Similarly there is more to learn about nurses working in different settings and whether education can help to advance practice. Importantly any new educational initiatives must reflect men’s expectations and needs when prostate cancer is diagnosed. |
