It is a great pleasure and honour to invite you to the EAU 2nd North Eastern European Meeting, which will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania on 12-13 September 2008.
A regional meeting like the EAU 2nd NEEM is very important for several reasons. First - it provides an open auditorium for residents and young urologists. Second - old and new friends from neighbouring countries can meet to share experiences. And finally - it is a top level scientific conference like the one last year in Tampere. Since this is only the 2nd North Eastern European regional meeting, your participation will determine if such a meeting will be continued annually. Also you are all invited to submit abstracts for publication in a supplement of European Urology, called European Urology Meetings.
Vilnius is a beautiful city with a fascinating old town and will be the Capital of European Culture in 2009. Its university is one of the oldest in Eastern Europe, created in 1579. These are all good reasons to visit our country and we are sure that you will enjoy your stay in Vilnius, a city which is as inviting and hospitable as it is beautiful.
