Emerging evidence on PSA in the diagnosis of prostate cancer | |

This course discusses the evidence on PSA as the best available biomarker of the risk for current prostate cancer. This includes the prognostic value of PSA as a marker for future risk of PCa and as a marker for progression of BPH. The role of PSA for risk stratification of already documented PCa or for monitoring treatment responses is NOT covered. In addition, the factors influencing PSA are discussed. This course is accredited with 1 CME credit until January 2015. |
