European Society of Andrological Urology (ESAU)

Mission

  • Reach a clearer perspective of what Andrology has to offer and increase our knowledge through investigation;
  • Promote every aspect of clinical Andrology, i.e. basic and clinical research, education and training;
  • Interaction and close collaboration with the EAA (European Academy of Andrology);
  • Set up joint workshops and training programmes which include all aspects of Andrology;
  • Realise a common European Educational Programme in Andrology;
  • Advance and perfect present treatment by communication of up-to-date techniques;
  • Promote collaborative projects among Urologists and Andrologists;
  • Take a new direction towards active participation in ongoing European Educational Programmes;
  • Finalise training programmes;
  • Bring together clinical trainees who may have mutual research interests and problems

Activities

  • Providing specialists with the latest expertise in the field of Andrology covering various areas and numerous specialisms such as urology, endocrinology and sexuology;
  • Organising annual fall meetings in addition to the section meeting during the EAU Annual Congress;
  • Coordinating a specialist training programme (Joint European Training Programme) in Andrology
