Announcement: Call for applications for EAU Secretary General Elect
The European Association of Urology (EAU) is now accepting applications from its members for the position of EAU Secretary General Elect.
The Secretary General Elect will take the position from the 29th Annual EAU Congress onward, working concurrently with the current Secretary General for one year. The Secretary General Elect will take the position of Secretary General for a four-year term at the 30th Annual EAU Congress.
The Secretary General Elect is a new position, the result of new bylaws. It is part of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is comprised of the following members: Secretary General, up to three Adjunct Secretary Generals, the Treasurer and the Secretary General Elect when deemed appropriate by the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is the decision-making organ of the EAU. Its decisions will be carried out by the different offices. The Executive Committee and offices will be assisted by the EAU Central Office that is run by the Executive Management.

Announcement: Call for applications for EAU Guidelines Office Chair
The European Association of Urology (EAU) is now accepting applications from its members for the position of EAU Guidelines Office Chair.
The EAU Guidelines Office produces clinical urological guidelines. It comprises a number of guidelines panels (22 at the moment, of which a number are ad-hoc panels) and a Board, composed of 1 chairman and a minimum of 5 members.
The Guidelines Office Chair convenes and presides over Board meetings of the Guidelines Office is a member of the EAU Board. He or she will be will be ultimately responsible for performance assessment of the members of the Guidelines Board as well as the panel members. The Guidelines Office Chair will take the position from the 29th Annual EAU Congress onward, serving for four years.
